Ecuador is located in South America, on the Pacific Coast, and it borders south with Peru and North with Colombia. Its territory in 277 000 square meters and it is divided in two by the Equatorial line which gives the country its name.
The Andes Mountain range divides the country into three much defined regions, with very diverse climates and ecosystems; The Pacific Coast, the Andes mountain region and the Amazon.
The Ecuador geographical location offers the ideal conditions for the production of high quality roses. Our farms are located in the province of Cotopaxi, so close to the Cotopaxi Volcano that we have fertile volcanic soil, pure water and a very mild and cool climate.
Being on the Equator line, also gives us the distinct advantage of receiving perpendicular sunlight 365 days a year. This allows us to naturally produce roses with big heads, long and strong stems, beautiful foliage, very strong colors and a long vase life.
The Ecuadorian rose has positioned itself historically as the Premium rose of the World. The unique geographical position of our country, combined with the altitude and resulting weather makes Ecuador probably the single best country in the world in terms of conditions for floriculture.
